Very early in the morning our team of professionals will be waiting for you at your Hotel in Cusco. We then head to km 82, which is the entrance point for the Inca Trail. Before arriving at this point we pass through Ollantaytambo, where we will be able to do any last-minute shopping.

Keep in mind that this is the the last place we will find a pharmacy or any kind of shop. We then continue on to Piscacucho (km 82), where we will meet with all our staff (porters and cooks) that will be accompany us in our adventure. It is here that we will begin our walk. Our first camp site will be at Huayllabamba.

Day 2: Huayllabamba – Warmiwañusca – Pacaymayu

After a delicious breakfast we begin our trek along the Inca Trail and Machu picchu. This day is one of the most complicated as we climb to the Warmiwañusca pass, which means in Quechua “Pass of the Dead Woman”. Here we will have spectacular views of the Andean landscapes that surround us. We then descend to Pacamayu which will be our second campsite.

Day 3: Pacaymayu – Sayacmarca – Phuyupatamarca – Wiñayhuayna

After a good breakfast we head for Runk’uraqhay, which was possibly a place of rest in Inca times, and then continue towards Sayacmarca, another important Inca site. From there we continue our trek to Phuyupatarmarca, an beautiful and enigmatic place where on clear days one can see the snowcapped peaks of Salkantay, Umantay, Pumasillo and Waqaywillka. In the afternoon we continue to Wiñayhuayna, which is our last campsite and our last night on the Inca Trail.

Day 4: Wiñayhuayna – Machu Picchu - Cusco

On this last day we will get up very early in the morning (4:00am) and after breakfast we head with all our positive energy towards The Sun Gate (Inti Punku) which is the entrance to Machu picchu, where we will have a fantastic view of the city in all its splendor. In addition, the majority of tourists feel a great personal satisfaction in having completed the Inca Trail. After this emotional moment we continue on toward the central zone of the Inca city where we will have a full guided tour and then take a bus down to Aguas Calientes, from there a train back to Cusco followed by one more bus.
